Lavender season

The humming hot air
calms my blue mind.
The sun leaves his kiss
on my bare arms.
A butterfly greets
my clumsy hands,
like giant and strange,
faltering friends.
The old sweet fragrance
flows through my heart.
I see the world with
lavender eyes.
